Dr Hussain Kajani

MB BS, FRACGP

Dr Kajani graduated in 2002 and has experience in the USA, UK and Regional and Rural Australia. He has been a General Practitioner for over 15 years. Dr Kajani has special interests in; men’s health, women’s health, chronic disease management, geriatric care, skin cancer, anti-wrinkle injections and minor procedures. Dr Kajani will look forward to having you as his patient and new patients are always welcome.

Dr Ann Arens

MB BS, FRACGP

Dr Arens graduated in 1986 from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery. Dr Arens has practiced general medicine for over 30 years and she enjoys all aspects of General Practice Medicine.

Dr Robyn Cooper

BM BS

Dr Cooper graduated from Adelaide University in 1982. She spent three years in hospital mainly training in RAH, Repat General Hospital and Port Moresby General Hospital after which she began General Practice in Port Moresby, Melbourne and Adelaide.

She has been qualified for 37 years, specialising in hypnotherapy, ante-natal care, family medicine and she has studies the relationships Australia course, Shine, CDT and various aspects of counselling.

Her interests are yoga, walking Mt Lofty, and speaking French.

Dr Fiona Downey

BM BS, FRACGP

Dr Downey is a GP who recently came home to Adelaide after 9 years in Perth. She graduated from the Flinders University of SA with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 1990. In 1996 Dr Downey was granted fellowship of the RACGP and has now accumulated over 25 years of experience in General Practice.She finds all age groups interesting.However, if pressed, would say women’s issues, contraception, sexual medicine, and adolescents have an “edge”.
Dr Downey is able to accomodate for Implanon and IUD’s insertions and iron infusions.  She has a Diploma of Child Health (Adelaide WCH 2000), a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine (Australasian CSCM 2012) and a Youth Friendly Doctor Certificate (Perth 2018).
In her spare time Dr Downey loves to be with friends, spend time around nature, and have a nap.

Dr John Weaver

MBBS, BSC(Hons)

General Medicine
Family Medicine

Dr Weaver completed a Science Degree and worked in Immunology Research before studying Medicine as a mature age student, graduating at the University of Adelaide in 1982.
He trained in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Flinders Medical Centre for several years before entering community medical practice in 1986, working in various roles, acquiring his own General Practice in 1989 before joining a Corporate Practice in 2003.

Dr Weaver has taught medical students for over 30 years in General Practice, and General Practice Registrars over the past 10 years.  He has worked part-time in specific Travel Medicine and worked as an assistant to various Specialist Surgeons over 30 years.  He has worked with Adelaide Unicare for the past 12 years, seeing a wide variety of International patients.

Dr Weaver’s special interests are: Chronic Management including auto immune diseases, Men’s Health including metabolic syndromes, Women’s health including long term contraception and perimenopausal management, minor surgery including skin cancers, acute injury treatment and Travel Medicine.
